Pratt joined the organization in September 2016 and serves as the Executive Director of the Jefferson County Economic Development Consortium and President of Thrive Economic Development. An accomplished economic development professional, Pratt has led five public/private EDO’s across the county, including the Cornerstone Alliance in Benton Harbor, Michigan; the Warren County Economic Development Corporation in Glens Fall, New York; the Orleans County Industrial Development Authority in Albion, New York, Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition in Wichita, Kansas, and the Regional Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) and City of Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. She also led Business Development efforts for the 9 County –focused Greater Rochester Enterprise in Rochester, New York
Just prior to joining the organization, she was a Sector Development Director for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), where she focused on placing strategic investments in the State to support and grow businesses engaged in advanced and defense-related manufacturing.
Vicki earned her Economic Developer Certification (CEcD) in 2004 from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). She served on the Council’s Accreditation of Economic Development Organizations (AEDO) committee for more than a decade, and has led efforts to accredit seven entities, including two internationally. There are only 52 AEDOs in the world.
She earned a B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications from SUNY Buffalo and has completed graduate coursework in Public Administration and Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin, and Community and Economic Development at Cornell University.
Throughout her career, Vicki has worked on projects that have impacted more than 22,000 jobs, including projects for industry leaders that include Bombardier LearJet, Cessna, Cargill and Barilla-America.
